Hello, my name is Lauren and I am a current student who loves to spend my time helping families out with their children. Spending my time with kids helps me feel like I am doing something important. 

I am hobbyist artist and photographer who loves creating new things. For the last few years, I have been saving and collecting materials and creating characters for costume work. I love to commission others for their work, but now I would like to try creating some larger pieces for myself and others. I am trying to achieve being able to improve as an artist and to help keep myself looking towards a positive goal. 

The funds that I would raise will go directly to the materials needed for my art and costuming. These funds will be collected and put in with my own money that I make, working for families and with their children. I will allow none of it to be spent on anything else. The funds will only be spent on materials for costuming, art supplies, and helping me get pre-made costume pieces. 

Please help give me the small extra boost that I need to get going with this personal creative project. I love to keep myself busy and to challenge myself. By helping me, you are giving me the courage and advancement that I need.

I look for support from others to help encourage me in what I do. While I love being a student and helping out families with their wonderful children, I'd love to have a side goal to go along.
